Lotus Exige Experience - Silverstone

Lotus Exige Experience - Silverstone

What does the activity include? After a full safety briefing you'll take to the circuit in a Lotus Exige. Once you have completed your first lapping session you will have a short break before getting back on track to build up speed and put into practice the skills you have learnt. Format: Safety briefing (25 minutes) 1st lapping session in a Lotus Exige (4 laps) 2nd session in a Lotus Exige (5 laps) High-speed demo lap by instructor in a track prepared saloon (1 lap) Final debrief and presentation of certificate (10 minutes) Where does the experience take place? Silverstone Racing Circuit in Northamptonshire on their Southern Circuit. What should I wear? Flat narrow soled shoes long sleeved shirt and trousers and wet weather clothing recommended in case of inclement weather. How long should I allow for this experience? You should expect to spend approximately 2 hours at the venue for this experience. When does the activity take place? Selected weekend and weekday dates throughout the year usually February to December. Are there any restrictions? You must have held a full UK licence for at least one year and this should be presented on the day (no photocopies). Minimum height 5'2" Maximum height 6'2" Maximum weight 16 stone Maximum age 70 years You must be in good health. The experience is not suitable for people who are pregnant or suffer from epilepsy high blood pressure or heart problems. Participants will be required to sign an indemnity on the day. What about the weather? If we are unable to run your experience due to adverse weather conditions you will be able to re-book your experience. In the event of a cancellation due to weather conditions then you must contact us within 7 days to rebook and the experience must be taken within 3 months of the original course date. Can I bring spectators? Yes spectators are welcome. There is a cafe and viewing area on site although views can be limited. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times. No animals (other than pre-confirmed assistance dogs) are allowed on site. What else do I need to know? Personal Accident Insurance is included. There will be 2 people per car. Once a date is booked for this experience you are unable to change or cancel your booking in doing so you will forfeit the entire course fee. You are however able to send someone else in your place.


Introductory Off-Road Driving

Introductory Off-Road Driving

What does the activity include? You will forge your way across exciting natural obstacles such as water splashes mud filled ruts and steep slippery slopes. The expert instructors will teach you the skills needed to develop your off-road driving ability and confidence to the full. The 4X4 vehicles are amazing just wait until you climb aboard and find out what these incredible vehicles can do. They climb the steepest of hills before descending. You will learn about both the theoretical and practical aspects of off-road driving during your experience as well as how a 4x4 actually does what it does! Kindly note that if you are attending the Liverpool location you will also receive free entry to Knowsley Safari Park. Where does the experience take place? Half day 4x4 courses are held at Knockhill Oxfordshire Gloucestershire Wiltshire Hertfordshire Yorkshire and Liverpool. What should I wear? Please wear casual clothing and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. A warm waterproof jacket and gloves are also advisable in the event of rain or cold weather. Remember you will get dirty! How long should I allow for this experience? You should allow 2-3 hours at the venue for this activity actual driving time may vary depending on location When does the activity take place? Courses take place throughout the year. Kindly note that the experience only runs during the winter months at Hertfordshire. Are there any restrictions? Typically restrictions are as follows: Minimum height 5 ft 2 ins. Maximum height 6 ft 4 ins. Please take your driving licence with you on the day. What about the weather? In the unlikely event of the course being cancelled due to weather conditions an alternative date will be offered to you. Can I bring spectators? Spectators are welcome (with the exception of Liverpool) but please dress appropriately as the conditions can get quite muddy. What does the activity include? Upon arrival at your chosen location you will receive a welcome introduction and safety briefing on course driving techniques then depending on your location you will get to drive the following vehicles: Prestwold Hall: 3 demonstration laps in a hot hatch 4 laps in a Ferrari 360 4 laps in a Ferrari 550 Presentation of Ferrari Experience Certificate and individual driving assessment Thruxton: 3 demonstration laps in a Mazda RX8 3 laps driving a Mazda RX8 4 laps driving a Ferrari 355 5 laps driving a single seat racing car 1 high speed passenger lap in a RX8 Rockingham Wigan and Donington: 5 minutes of demonstration laps in a saloon car 10-15 minutes driving a Ferrari 360 20 minutes driving a Formula Single Seater 15 minutes to De-brief Where does the experience take place? Prestwold Hall in Loughborough Thruxton in Hampshire Rockingham in Northamptonshire Wigan in Lancashire Donington in Derbyshire What should I wear? Please wear casual clothing with suitable driving footwear. You are also advised to bring waterproof clothing. How long should I allow for this experience? Depending on your chosen location you should allow 1 ¾ - 3 hours for the whole experience. When does the activity take place? Selected weekend and weekday dates throughout the year depending on your chosen location. Are there any restrictions? The participant must hold a full clean valid European or UK manual driving licence which must be presented on the day of your experience. Leicestershire: Minimum height 5ft Maximum height 6ft 6 Maximum weight 17 stone Hampshire: Minimum height 4ft 8 Maximum height 6ft 5 Maximum weight 18 stone Minimum age 17 years Northamptonshire Lancashire and Derbyshire: Minimum height 5ft 2 Maximum height 6ft 4 What about the weather? Mallory Park or Prestwold Hall Leicestershire. What should I wear? Please wear casual clothing and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. We suggest a tracksuit or jeans with trainers or soft shoes. How long should I allow for this experience? You will be at the venue for approximately 3 -4 hours. When does the activity take place? Courses run in morning and afternoon sessions on selected Saturdays and weekday dates throughout the year. Are there any restrictions? You must have a full UK European or International to take part in this course. Please also remember to take this on the day with you. Minimum height 5 foot. Maximum height 6 foot 4ins Maximum weight 16 stone What about the weather? In the unlikely event of the course being cancelled due to weather conditions an alternative date will be offered to you. Rally Driving Experience

What does the activity include? The course will start with a classroom briefing on the different techniques required to master the art of Rally Driving. This will cover correct braking and gear change methods handling techniques and more. The vehicles used vary depending on location and may be front or rear wheel drive. The fully qualified instructors will put you at ease as you learn the different techniques over the loose or tarmac surfaces. Numbers per car are restricted allowing each individual to get the most from their day. Actual driving time may vary from 20min - 40mins depending on location please check with eXhilaration at the time of booking. Where does the experience take place? Oxfordshire Lincolnshire Shropshire Worcestershire Northamptonshire Buckinghamshire and Dunfirmline (weekdays only). What should I wear? Please wear casual clothing and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. How long should I allow for this experience? Approximately time at the venue 1.5 to 3 hours. Actual driving time will vary depending on location. When does the activity take place? Selected dates throughout the year. Are there any restrictions? Minimum age 18 Minimum height 4 ft 8(5ft at Oxfordshire / 5ft 2 at Northamptonshire) Maximum height 6 ft 7(6ft6 at Oxfordshire) Maximum weight 18 stone (16 stone at Oxfordshire) Any illness which may affect driving. You must have held a full current manual driving licence to take part in this course which must be presented on the day. This must have been held for at least 1 year to drive at Northamptonshire. Please Note: the above height and weight limits are guidelines please contact eXhilaration for advice if you fall outside these limits on 0870 7700066. What about the weather? If the course is cancelled due to bad weather an alternative date will be offered to you. Can I bring spectators? Spectators are welcome but there may be limited places and age restrictions for safety reasons. These vary by location so please check with eXhilaration at the time of booking for your chosen location. There may be a small charge for spectators. Strictly no dogs allowed. What else do I need to know? Personal Accident & Cancellation Insurance is included. Refreshments are available at most centres.
