For those who want to get to the top.

Climbing is reputed to be the one thing that really pushes you to the limit. If you want to see how far you can push yourself by ice climbing, rock climbing, bouldering or cliff climbing, this is the page for you. We have it all.

If you are really adventurous, try the Coasteering Experience where you will experience a thrilling mix of swimming climbing scrambling and cliff jumping. The jumping isn’t compulsory but most people like to try it.

Ice Climbing

Ice Climbing

What does the activity include? After the welcome you will receive a full Health & Safety briefing and be kitted up ready to move onto the ice. You will receive one to one tuition from a fully qualified instructor and spend approximately 40 minutes on the ice. This is an introduction for those who have not tried ice climbing before and you’ll learn the basic skills need to get a real taster of this exciting new sport. Where does the experience take place? Ice climbing takes place in London or Manchester. What should I wear? Loose fitting warm layers. You will be provided with all the technical clothing. How long should I allow for this experience? You should allow approximately one hour. When does the activity take place? Tuesday – Sunday all year subject to availability. Are there any restrictions? Minimum age 16 Participants should be physically fit. If in doubt consult your doctor in advance What about the weather? The weather will not affect this experience. Can I bring spectators? Guests are very welcome. There are spectator viewing areas. What else do I need to know? Personal Accident and Cancellation Insurance is included. Cancellation Policy: Once a date is booked for this activity the centre requires a minimum of 2 days notice to change or cancel your booking. If you give less than 2 days notice or fail to turn up for your experience for whatever reason then you will forfeit your entire course fee.

Climbing Taster for Two

What does the activity include? After welcome and safety briefing you will be kitted out with all the relevant safety equipment before starting your experience. You can either choose from climbing and bouldering in the state of the art facility or absailing 100ft inside a huge tower. Whichever activity you chose you an experienced instructor will be on hand to guide you through your experience step by step. Kindly note there will be a maximum of 4 people per session. Where does the experience take place? North London. What should I wear? Participants should wear loose fitting trousers and a long sleeved top something which is easy to move and stretch in. How long should I allow for this experience? You should allow approximately one hour and 15 minutes on site. When does the activity take place? Courses run on selected weekday and weekend dates all year round we recommend that you book at least 1 week in advance. Are there any restrictions? Minimum age 18 years. What about the weather? The weather will not affect this experience. Can I bring spectators? A maximum of 2 spectators are permitted per participant. What else do I need to know? Personal Accident and Cancellation Insurance is included. Refreshments are not included but can be purchased on site. Unfortunately this experience is not suitable for disabled persons however there are disabled toilets on site for spectators. Cancellation Policy: Once a date has been booked for your experience the centre requires a minimum of 72 hours notice to change or cancel a booking. If you give less than 72 hours or fail to turn up for your activity then you will lose your experience completely.


Coasteering Experience

Coasteering Experience

What does this activity include? You will begin your experience with a brief introduction and a chance to meet your guide. Experience a thrilling mix of swimming climbing scrambling and cliff jumping. The jumping isn’t compulsory but most people like to try it. Perfect for exploring the beautiful coastline. You will learn about the coastline at the same time as having great fun and testing your skill nerve and endurance. The course itself will differ depending on conditions on the day. On a calm day it is possible to explore caves when it gets rougher hold onto your hats - it can be a rollercoaster ride. Your friendly guides are experts and will know exactly how to deal with whatever you encounter along the way. Where does the experience take place? Pembrokeshire in Wales. What should I wear? It is recommended that you bring an old pair of trainers you don’t mind getting wet swimwear to wear underneath your wetsuit a towel and a pair of tracksuit bottoms or shorts to wear over your wetsuit (those with a drawstring are best so they don’t fall down when you jump). You will also need warm clothes to change into afterwards. You will be provided with a helmet buoyancy aid and wetsuit. How long should I allow for this experience? You should allow approximately 3 and a half hours for the whole experience. When does the activity take place? Courses run on selected days all year round weather permitting. Are there any restrictions? All participants must be water confident. Minimum age 8 years. What about the weather? The weather will not normally be cause for cancellation of the experience. However the weather may cause changes to activities on the day. In the unlikely event it is postponed a further date will be offered to you. Can I bring spectators? Spectators are welcome to wait at the centre whilst you do your experience. What else do I need to know? Refreshments may be purchased on the day. Please arrive at the centre 30 minutes prior to your start time. Unfortunately this experience is not suitable for those with disabilities. If you can carry two bags of shopping up the stairs without stopping or run to catch a bus or train when it pulls in a hundred metres ahead of you then you are probably fit enough to come along. You will be asked to complete a Health Awareness Form before you set out please make sure you complete it with as much detail as possible. If you have particular concerns please call us. Introduction to Outdoor Climbing

What does the activity include? If you've ever wanted to try climbing then do it outdoors and you'll be hooked. This introduction to this fun and exciting sport combines healthy physical effort with a dose of problem solving in a supportive friendly atmosphere. Even with no previous experience or training whatsoever you'll be climbing within minutes. Your half day session will include the following: - Introduction to climbing and bouldering - Knots and belaying - Safety awareness - Climbing techniques - Climbing etiquette Full professional instruction will be provided throughout. Where does the experience take place? Nr Crowborough East Sussex. What should I wear? It is recommended that you wear comfortable clothing and trainers. Due to the nature of the location you must bring spare warm clothes and waterproofs as even in the summer the weather can change quickly. All climbing and safety equipment including helmets and harnesses will be provided on the day. How long should I allow for this experience? You should allow approximately 3 and a half to 4 hours for the whole experience. When does the activity take place? Courses run on selected weekend dates between March and October we recommend that you book at least 4 weeks in advance. All bookings are subject to availability. Are there any restrictions? You must be between 18 and 65 years old to take part and a maximum weight of 16 stone. A general level of fitness is required if a client feels they might have health problems that may affect their participation in the activity please contact us first. What about the weather? The course will only be cancelled due to extreme weather. If the experience is cancelled due to unsuitable weather you will be able to rebook your date. Can I bring spectators? A maximum of 2 spectators per participant are welcome at no extra charge. What else do I need to know? Personal Accident & Cancellation Insurance is included. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water with you on the day as there are normally no shops near the crags. Unfortunately this experience is not suitable for those with disabilities. Vouchers are valid for 9 months from the date of issue and you must book and take your experience before the expiry date.
